We are delighted to welcome Margo Uprichard and Cathie Kelly to the team. Margo is carrying on Frances Hume's work as our new Training Development Worker and will be developing our training Toolkits as well as establishing some innovative work (No pressure Margo!) around volunteering. Cathie joins us as a Church Development Worker - a new post within the team funded by Tearfund. You should hopefully have a chance to meet Margo and Cathie over the next couple of weeks as they get out and about.
We have also recently been successful in our application for funding to support work in the Muslim community in Glasgow. We are just completing the recruitment of a new worker to work with mosques, Muslim organisations and Muslim individuals. It is hoped the new member of staff will be with us later in the summer for an initial ten-month period. We'll keep you posted about this exciting development for the team.
